Focus Features announced the release of Sinister 2, Despite what most people said about the movie, I love it absolutely love it, It was terrifying and chilling and the suspense of the movie just takes you off the seat, If you haven’t seen it then I will recommend that you should!

Ciaran Foy will direct the sequel which Scott Derrickson, the director of the first Sinister, is writing with C. Robert Cargill. Derrickson and Cargill also wrote the original film.

In the first film, Ethan Hawke played a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story who discovers a box of home videos showing other families being brutally murdered, but his investigation soon leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

Sinister opened in October of 2012 and earned $77.7 million worldwide on a $3 million budget.

Release Date August 21, 2015.
