HBO series Game of Thrones season 7 is coming out and everyone is pumped for the upcoming brutal season, In this upcoming season fire and ice are going to battle it out, as we have seen in the recent Facebook release date event. In this season we will get only 7 episodes instead of the usual 10. and maybe that’s why the dragons are going to be so much greater this time around. At the end of last season, Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) dragons and her enormous army were finally on the way to Westeros (finally), where Cersei (Lena Headey) is now Queen after the death of her children. The Night King’s (Vladimir Furdik in Season 6) army is heading south, and a battle appears to be coming. Dragons are on their way with their mommy, but obviously, they’re going to be huge when we see them again in the season 7.

According to EW, the Game of Thrones dragons are going to be the size of airplanes in Season 7. “The dragons this year are the size of 747s,” director Matt Shakman told the site. “Drogon is the biggest of the bunch — his flame is 30-feet in diameter!” EW further explains that’s 230 feet long with a 210 feet wingspan. Shakman will direct episodes this season with Alan Taylor, Jeremy Podeswa, and Mark Mylod.

Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, tweeted this late last year: “Just finished reading season 7, s**t gets REAL. I’d start preparing yourselves now… scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this… Holy BALLS.”

Game of Thrones will battle it out on HBO, wait for July 16, 2017.
