GQ sat down with Dr. Cathleen Lewis, curator of International Space Programs and Spacesuits at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum, to discuss the spacesuits that have been used in some of the famous and hit movies.

She breaks down each of the suits and gives out some interesting insight on them that movie fans are sure to appreciate. The movies discussed in the video include Star Trek, Gravity, Alien, Prometheus, The Martian, Moonraker, Destination Moon, Stargate: Atlantis, Armageddon, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Outland, Moon, and Sunshine.
