Nothing short of what developers of Sniper Elite 3 Game for PlayStation 4 will offer at the Wii U later this year forms the basis for great expectation every gamer is entertaining. It’s no longer news that despite the coming of the game to Xbox 360, PS3, it’s equally heading to next generation of platforms in 2014. Thus, the plot and story of Elite OSS Sniper Karl Fairburne during the World Was II will continue. Consequent upon the success of sniper Eliet V2 released on PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and PS3—the worldwide market success of 1.1 million copies since the April 2012 launch—I believe that the potential of this brand in the gaming world is high.
The recent news which confirms that the PC version of Sniper Elite Game for PlayStation 4 is in development has just opened a new channel of suspense. The Sniper Elite’s team at Rebellion seems more focused than ever and there is no doubt that more ingenuity will be injected in to the game development especially in areas of refined gameplay, new environments, new storyline and gaming experience. It is plausible that this is true and will be commendable if the hard work really imparted in the gaming experience.
The CEO of Rebellion has confirmed that the joy of his company lies in his partnership with 505 Games in developing the Sniper Elite 3 game for PlayStation 4 especially the attention of a sequel that will build on the highly successful Sniper Elite V2.
In his exact words, he said: “We’ve got some great ideas to improve on what we did before and feedback from fans has been invaluable. Sniper Elite V2 was just the beginning of what we want to do with the franchise, there are things we didn’t have time to do before that we can really look at featuring this time. We want to focus on making this latest incarnation of Sniper Elite more of a sandbox game but also build on the awesome X-Ray Kill Cam and the atmospheric World War II setting.”
I’m particularly thrilled if the effort yields. This expectation is not in converse with the expectation of the team which desires nothing but to see what the impact of their product would have on gamers and fans of Sniper Elite especially on the last chapter of the story.
On the game logo, there is an insinuation that the action will be set around Afroka Korps, the German Force in Lybia and Tunisia during the North Africa Campaign of World War II. As we keep our finger crossed, watching to see what the effort will yield, I believe that Sniper Elite brand has a high business potential.
