Spider-Man Welcomes Mysterio To The Avengers in New TV Spot For SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME

Marvel has unveiled a new TV spot for Spider-Man: Far From Home. It gives up a bit of new footage from the movie and also features Peter Parker (Tom Holland) welcoming Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) to the Avengers crew. While it would be very cool if Mysterio actually did turn out to be a true hero and new member of the Avengers gang, I just don’t think that’s how things are going to play out.

Here’s the synopsis:

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

Spider-Man: Far From Home also stars Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, J.B. Smoove, Samuel L. Jackson, and Numan Acar.

Jon Watts is directing the movie from a script written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. Spider-Man: Far From Home will come to cinemas on July 2nd, 2019.
