The Gisborne Herald, a newspaper in New Zealand mistakenly said that Spike Lee had died, not Stan Lee. The picture and information were all correct, but the name had been falsely put to Spike instead of Stan.
The Internet, of course, had some fun with the mistake and Spike Lee even got in on some of the fun.
Editor of the Gisborne Herald, Jeremy Muir, told Stuff.co.nz that, “People are having a bit of fun with it. That’s fine. It’s just really embarrassing. It’s a human mistake.”
