Steven Spielberg Directs His First Music Video and You Can Watch it Here

Legendary movie director Steven Spielberg has directed his first music video for the new Marcus Mumford single “Cannibal.” Spielberg shot the music video in a high school gym on his iPhone and did it in one continuous shot.

Mumford shared the news on social media and included some behind-the-scenes photos. He also shared that Kate Capshaw was the producer, dolly grip, and art director, while Carey Mulligan handled the costumes and sound.

The music video, check it out below, is simple and there’s really not much to it, but getting Spielberg to direct it certainly gives Mumford bragging rights.

“Cannibal” is out now, and the Mumford & Sons frontman’s solo album Self-Titled will be released on September 16.
