Steven Spielberg’s Jaws Score Getting a Vinyl Release

Jaws

John Williams’ soundtrack for Steven Spielberg’s Jaws is one of the most iconic tunes ever and the dum dum, dum dum, dum, dum tune still scares me, but it’s never been properly released on vinyl before. But that is about to change because Mondo is releasing on Vinyl.

We love this score and can’t quite believe that not only do we get to give it a vinyl treatment, BUT we’re releasing the full score as it appears in the film. (This is the first time this original version has ever been released on vinyl as the original soundtrack LP, and subsequent reissues were all actually re-recorded cues made especially for that LP.) The album is produced by Mike Matessino who painstakingly restored, edited and remastered every cue for this release. John Williams’ score has never sounded better.

Phantom City Creative is responsible for the artwork you see here. You can pre-order the album right here for $35.00.
