Some new details have been released for the movie that Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman are preparing to shoot in space. There hasn’t been a lot of news in the Universal Pictures movie since it was revealed.

The movie still doesn’t even have a script, but they do hope to have one written and ready to go by next year as it will most likely be the next movie Cruise works on after he’s finished with Mission: Impossible 8.

It’s also revealed that most of the film will be shot on Earth and that there are scenes that will only be “partially shot on the International Space Station” with some “additional footage… to be shot on a rocket.” It was also reported that the whole movie would be shot in space, which is amazing than “partially shot.”

The movie is described as an “action-adventure” movie, and Cruise will play “a down-on-his-luck guy who finds himself in the position of being the only person who could save Earth”

The upcoming movie will be a partnership between Elon Musk’s Space X and NASA, and production would take place aboard the International Space Station when they’re really in space.

Universal Pictures has committed $200 million to the movie. This movie is going to be really amazing!
