STRANGER THINGS Season 2 Details and Timeline Revealed

Stranger Things season two is currently shooting and today we have little bits of information about the upcoming season. There is not much information released previously but today we have some details about the upcoming show.

During an interview with HollywoodLife, David Harbour (Jim Hopper) dropped a few hints about the series during the Fan2Sea Comic-Con cruise. During the conversation, he revealed the timeline, saying that it takes place a year after the events of the first season.

“It’s a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year, like Will has come back. There are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened. So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what.”

It sounds like things are going to be getting very interesting in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. He also confirmed Sean Astin’s role in the series as Joyce Byers’ (Winona Ryder) new boyfriend.

“We have Sean Astin… he’s Winona’s new boyfriend… much to the chagrin to the Chief of Police.”
