‘Stranger Things’-Themed Monopoly Board Game is Coming Soon

Stranger Things board game truly catches the obsession of the 1980s: real estate and the game is Monopoly, which has long since expanded from its humble Park Place origins to allow for investments in Westeros and into the far, far away galaxy. Now you can fight for property in the town of Hawkins, Indiana! This fall, Hasbro Gaming is launching a Stranger Things Collector’s Edition version of Monopoly.

Since Hawkins isn’t exactly the capital of tourism, the usual houses and hotels have been substituted by stately Forts and glow-in-the-dark kids Hideouts, which adorn such signature locations as Benny’s Burgers and the Starcourt Mall. Hideouts will surely come in convenient considering that you’re trying to stay one step ahead of Mind Flayers and mad scientists. The general game pieces have also been replaced by cool Stranger Things totems: think Eggos, cassette tapes, and Demodorg pollywogs.

Stranger Things Collector’s Edition Monopoly will be in stores this fall for $49.99 and is now available for preorder. You can watch Season 3 of Stranger Things on Netflix.
