This Street Artist is Painting Fake Shadows and People Are Freaking Out

Artist Damon Belanger was commissioned by the business owners of downtown Redwood City, California to include a little life into the downtown heart.

Belanger, a graphic artist living and working in the San Francisco Bay area, painted 23 shadow artworks around downtown. There’s no reason for their locations, no explanation for who or what the characters are. But if you happen to notice them, you’ll surely do a double take and maybe scratch your head when you realize something isn’t right.
