These incredible underwater shots are taken by Michaela Skovranova, in them she will take you under the waters of Austraila and shown us the incredible underwater life.
27-year-old Michaela Skovranova was born in Slovakia. After moving to Sydney at the age of 13 years, Michael realized that the ocean is what she loves most in her life.
According to the photographer,it wasn’t easy developing a relationship with the ocean at first, “Moving to the ocean from a small country, which has no outlet to the sea, I felt great uncertainty when immersed in water. Over time, I realized that if I could see around me, it would have gave me a sense of security. I started diving and plunged into a world of absolute peace and quiet. It was wonderful”.
She received her first order for an underwater photo shoot in May,2014.
“Synchronicity” – is her latest project. She shot humpback whales and seals.
Whales struck her the most, “Females whales – are gentle and caring mothers, but at the same time incredibly strong animals”,she says.
Their lungs are able to make sounds, from which you will feel the vibration in the whole body. ”
This is her favourite picture of the series. It is called “Love leaves scars”: “It is a portrait of a baby humpback whale. Young whales typically have very light coloring. After a few days visible scratches appear on their bodies. Mother and baby rub against each other, thus expressing love. It damages the skin, but their need to express love is much stronger.”
