Super Mario Bros. Movie Gets Trailer

Super Mario Bros.

Nintendo, Illumination, and Universal Pictures released the first trailer of the movie. The companies announced that the debut teaser for the film will drop on October 6 at 4 p.m. ET during New York Comic-Con.

There are no other hints at what the teaser will have or how long it will be. The tweet only had a Question Block and the aforementioned dates, once again confirming its April 7, 2023 release date.

This teaser will likely reveal Chris Pratt’s Mario voice, which has been a constant topic of discussion. Alongside Pratt, the rest of the cast includes Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Mario’s traditional voice actor, Charles Martinet, will also be involved and have “surprise cameos in the movie.”
