With the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. just two weeks out from its release in Japan, Nintendo is holding little back. Today, they’ve tossed up five minutes of mostly in-game footage for us to look at.
The extended trailer is all in Japanese, but you can probably follow the gist. They’re showing characters, stages, items, assists and modes.
Smash Bros. on 3DS has the same character roster as the upcoming Wii U game, but it has different stages. The 3DS games’ stages are largely (all?) based on previous portable gamesmostly from Nintendo (As for non-Nintendo source material, there’s a Pac-Man stage, at least).
The portable Nintendo fighting game will be out in North America on October 3. The Wii U version is slated simply for “holiday.”
