Empire is back with a high-res version of the photo and even a quote from director Zack Snyder.
“Superman does play a big part in this movie,” Snyder tells the outlet. “His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points…”
In the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Man of Steel didn’t make it out of the film alive, but there was a little teaser about his return. Star Henry Cavill also teased the character’s infamous “black suit” , a costume that the hero wore in the pages of DC Comics following his resurrection.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, with J.K. Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League will hit theaters on November 10, 2017.
