Well, I never thought this will be so confusing. Apparently, some fans of the Supernatural TV series think that the upcoming Winchester horror movie is a spinoff for the TV series. and all the confusion is because of the name Winchester. I love the show since it started and I still like to watch it, but how it can be confusing is beyond me, just check out the trailer and everything will be crystal clear.

There has been so much confusion about this movie, that Lionsgate thought they needed to release a statement with the new promo spot for the movie. The promo came with the following note:
