Internet is going wild with rumor of Sylvester Stallone joining the cast of James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Movie is set to hit theaters on May 5th, 2017.

“Sylvester Stallone was caught on camera Friday heading to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He is pictured holding a script, likely evidence of a role in the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster.”
You can see a photo of Sylvester Stallone holding the script right here. He is leaving the Atlanta hotel where the cast of the highly anticipated Marvel sequel is staying. The site goes on to reveal that he got into a car that is usually assigned to Chris Pratt. There is no official confirmation, so we are going to treat it as a rumor until it is confirmed.
There’s obviously no information on who he will be playing, but the report says that he only has a cameo in the film. If that’s the case, he’s most likely taking on the role of some kind of alien creature that could be CGI just like Nathan Fillion’s character in the first film
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is being directed by James Gunn. The cast includes Pratt in the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora;Dave Bautista as Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; andSean Gunn as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Russell.
