Paramount Pictures has delivered a new full trailer for their upcoming movie adaptation of one of Stephen King’s most horrifying tales, Pet Sematary. The new trailer is packed with horrific new footage. This movie is sure to frighten the living shit out of fans! It looks like it will deliver on the kind of horrific fear that I was expecting for.
It looks like there is a big change from the original story in this film. In the book, the young boy Cage is killed by a truck. In this film, it seems as if it’s his elder sister that is killed. You’ll see when you watching the trailer.
The movie was directed by Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kölsch and stars Jason Clarke as Dr. Louis Creed, John Lithgow as Jud Crandall, and Amy Seimetz as Rachel. They all look like they’re going to be great in their roles!
Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
Pet Sematary will hit theaters on April 19, 2019.
