For years and years, people have used QWERTY style keyboards, but has anyone ever thought why? Vox did, and while they go all over the place in their explanation, they do offer a complete and fascinating story behind the history of keyboards and the weird directions things could’ve gone had history favored other inventors in the 1880s.
