The Batman Revealed The First Trailer Starring Robert Pattinson
At the DC FanDome featured a host of panels piled with big names, which includes Robert Pattinson and director Matt Reeves at The Batman panel. And it was brilliant with The Batman’s first trailer for the DC Comics movie which will be released at the end of the next year.
The new DC FanDome trailer footage is dark and brutal. We see in one scene that Pattinson’s Dark Knight will bring a severe, unrelenting fighting style. Trying to figure out his role in fighting the evil of Gotham, he’s uncertain how he fits into helping Gotham PD.
“We will see Batman grow, make mistakes… and be flawed,” Reeves said during the panel. “We also get to see him being the world’s greatest detective.”
In the trailer, Batman will pursue a shadowy killer, following the noir-influenced The Long Halloween comic book storyline that sees Falcone using the Rogues Gallery of Batman villains, which will also include Catwoman and Penguin, to take him down.
You will also see in the trailer, Zoe Kravitz playing Catwoman, John Turturro as Gotham mob boss Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as Riddler and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
The movie also includes Colin Farrell as Penguin, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham DA Gil Colson, and Jayme Lawson as Gotham mayoral nominee Bella Reál.
