The Boys Crossover With Call Of Duty Season 4 Teased In New Trailer

The Boys Crossover With Call Of Duty Season 4

Activision made an exciting announcement during the Summer Game Fest, unveiling the highly anticipated Season 4 trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. This trailer provided players with a captivating glimpse of the upcoming Vondel map for the battle royale mode, as well as the intriguing DMZ setting. However, that wasn’t all. The trailer also contained a tantalizing tease, hinting at an upcoming collaboration between Call of Duty and Amazon Prime’s hit television series, The Boys.

For those with keen eyes, a careful observation at the one-minute mark of the Season 4 trailer revealed The Boys logo discreetly placed on the side of a building. This subtle inclusion strongly suggests that fans can anticipate an exciting crossover between the satirical superhero universe of The Boys and the action-packed worlds of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Although specific details about this collaboration have yet to be disclosed, it is widely speculated that players can expect a special cosmetic operator bundle to be made available in the in-game shop. As enthusiasts eagerly await more information, theories regarding which beloved characters from The Boys might make their way into the Call of Duty universe are running rampant.

The official Twitter account of The Boys further fueled the excitement by sharing a screenshot of the trailer, featuring Homelander, portrayed by Antony Starr. However, if only one character were to join the game, many believe that Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher is the frontrunner. Interestingly, Activision’s Season 4 roadmap revealed the identities of all the upcoming operators, except for one simply referred to as “Butch,” whose details were intentionally redacted.

Collaborations of this magnitude have become a norm within the Call of Duty franchise. In the past, Call of Duty: Vanguard introduced the enigmatic assassins Hazel and Cha-Cha from the wildly popular Netflix series Umbrella Academy. Attack on Titan also received operator bundles in Vanguard, and more recently, Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles became an operator bundle addition to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2 promises even more exciting content for players to enjoy. In addition to the highly anticipated collaboration, a brand-new battle pass, an array of DLC weapons, and various other additions are set to enhance the gaming experience. It’s definitely worth delving into all that Season 4 has to offer, including the new maps, modes, and the intriguing battle royale features and DMZ changes in Warzone 2.
