THE EQUALIZER 3 New Details Revealed By Antoine Fuqua

The Equalizer

The Equalizer film franchise is looking forward to the third movie starring Denzel Washington as a man who is pulled back into the life he thought he had left behind, serving justice to save the crushed and exploited people he comes into contact with. The Equalizer 3 is heading toward production, and in a current interview with /Film, the film’s director, Antoine Fuqua, was asked about what we can expect. He said:

“Hopefully, reveal a little more about Robert. Yeah, I think that’s the key, to learn more about Robert McCall. We’re shooting it in Italy, so that’d be fun. We’re going to scout now. Sardinia, probably show up somewhere up the Amalfi Coast. Also, trying to find some small villages, seaside villages, things like that, and then we’ll be in Sicily and Naples.”

We don’t know much more about the film, except that the script has been written, and Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, The Alienist) is starring in the movie alongside Washington.

The Equalizer 3 is set to hit theaters on September 1, 2023.
