Shudder has unveiled a trailer for a new upcoming documentary that will examine the making of the classic 1973 horror movie The Exorcist. The documentary is called Leap of Faith: William Friedkin on The Exorcist, and it comes with an interview with director William Friedkin as he talks about his experience about the making of the movie.
The movie comes from filmmaker Alexandre O. Philippe, who has previously made the following docs 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene, Memory: The Origins of Alien, Doc of the Dead, and The People vs. George Lucas. All of these are amazing movies worth watching, especially if you’re a horror buff.
The movie is “not just an in-depth musing on one of the most influential and widely acclaimed horror movies of all time, but also an enlightening and intimate portrait of one man’s creative process.” Check out the synopsis:
