Warner Bros. has unleashed the full and final trailer for DC’s highly anticipated movie Joker and if this trailer didn’t excite you to go and watch the trailer, I don’t know what will.
It looks like director Todd Phillips has made an unbelievable movie based on this iconic DC villain and there’s no uncertainty that Joaquin Phoenix gives an unusual award-worthy appearance as the man who will become the Clown Prince of Crime.
This awesome new trailer features a lot of new footage that offers us insight into the story of Arthur Fleck and his dark descent into insanity. While he is trying to live a healthy and normal life in Gotham City, his painful journey takes him on a path of darkness that will make him becoming Gotham’s most threatening criminal.
It’s been said that the topic of the movie will talk about mental illness, and the director also described it as a tragedy, which is obviously can be seen in this new trailer.
This was the official synopsis that was released:
Joker centers around the iconic arch-nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
Joker stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, and Marc Maron.
Joker will hit theaters on October 4th, 2019.
