THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Set Photos Reveals a Huge Character Comeback

Set photos of The Mandalorian Season 3 have emerged online, and they give some hints about where the journey of The Mando and Grogu is going towards.

At the end of The Book of Boba Fett, we saw The Mando and Grogu leave Tatooine and went into space, but we didn’t really know where they were going. Well, it looks like they will be meeting up with some allies from season 2.

The photo below features actor Simon Kassianides in costume as Axe Woves, one of the Mandalorians battling alongside Bo-Katan Kryze and Koska Reeves. So, that being the case, it is not too difficult to believe that Bo-Katan and Koska will be back as well.

With The Mando now in control of the Dark Saber, it only makes sense that his Mandalore story arc will continue.

When previously talking about the third season of the series, stuntman Brendan Wayne shared, “I think we’ve introduced the world in which Mando exists now. Not that there aren’t going to be new things, I’m sure… I think there will be a lot fewer introductions, and a lot more going back towards the first season of delving deeper into the character and things like that I think. Have I read one script? No. Have I heard some things? Sure. So I’m guessing. But I can tell you this. If anyone’s going to be able to continue telling a story, it’s Jon [Favreau]. And raising the stakes? It’s Jon.”

Executive producer, writer, and director Dave Filoni also previously gave a tease for Season 3 saying, “There’s a lot of new adventures coming up. I have to be careful, I can’t really say anything specific, but I think the Force will be strong with this, let’s just say that.”
