New NASA and SpaceX spacesuits looks awesome and were worn by the crew of the Dragon Demo-2 when that launched into space to dock with the ISS.
These new suits were designed by Ironhead Studios’ Jose Fernandez. He has worked on many Marvel and DC movies which includes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War, and was responsible for designing Thor and Loki’s helmets and Spidey’s mask in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Fernandez explained in a recent interview with Forbes that when he was contacted by Space X:
“I didn’t know what SpaceX was, and I thought it was a film. [Musk] kept saying, ‘Anyone looks better in a tux, no matter what size or shape they are,’ and when people put this space suit on, he wants them to look better than they did without it, like a tux. You look heroic in it.”
Fernandez pulled off something really awesome and what Elon Musk wanted him to create. Spacecraft commander Douglas Hurley and joint-operations commander Robert Behnken looked amazing in the new suits.
