THE ORVILLE: NEW HORIZONS Full Trailer Revealed

THE ORVILLE: NEW HORIZONS

Hulu has just released the full trailer for the long-awaited third season of The Orville. The next season is called The Orville: New Horizons, and it’s going to take fans on a thrilling ride! This has been such a fun show to watch. It started out as a Star Trek parody, but it kind of turned from that into a sci-fi show. There’s still comedy in the series and MacFarlane’s Captain Ed Mercer even has a Star Wars reference in the trailer.

The Orville has still got the positiveness and playfulness that we’ve loved, but it doesn’t feel like a parody anymore. It’s its own thing now and that’s awesome! On top of that, the special effects are very impressive.

MacFarlane comes back to star in the series and he is joined by Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman, Jessica Szohr, and Anne Winters.

The Star Trek-inspired series is set 400 years in the future, and it “finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.”

The Orville: New Horizons will release on Hulu on June 2nd.
