THE SIMPSONS Treehouse of Horror XXXI Takes on TOY STORY

The Simpsons are getting ready to air its 31st annual Halloween episode, Treehouse of Horror XXXI. The new episode will take a terrifying look at the 2020 election, and will parody Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, launching many Homers from other dimensions, and will even nod at Netflix’s Russian Doll in which Lisa has a birthday.

The story is also getting a Pixar style of animation, packed with a Toy Story storyline in which Bart is a Sid-like kid who abuses his toys, most likely with destructive results. This looks like a fun episode with a lot of cool references and Easter eggs for the fans.

The Simpsons Season 32, Episode 4, Treehouse of Horror XXXI will air on FOX on October 18th.
