THE SMURFS Coming Back to TV Next Month

The Smurfs are set to come back to Nickelodeon next month and today we have got a new trailer. The series will be CG-animated and follows the famous blue characters on new adventures. This is the first time the Smurfs have returned to television in a new series in almost 40 years with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Hefty, Clumsy, and more is the focus.

Fans will see David Freeman voicing Papa Smurf, Berangere McNeese as the voice of Smurfette, Lenny Mark Irons voicing Gargamel, Youssef El Kaoukibi as Brainy, and Catherine Hershey as Willow. Willow is a new character who is a “brave and wise matriarch of a new tribe of girl Smurfs.”

• Smurf-Fu

  • When Smurfette rescues Brainy from a giant snake, the other Smurfs ask her to teach them “Smurf-Fu.”

• Diaper Daddy

  • When everyone is tired of changing Baby’s diapers, Handy decides to invent a robot that will do the job.
