The WILLOW Sequel Series First Teaser Trailer is Here

During the Lucasfilm presentation at the Star Wars Celebration, the first teaser trailer was released for the highly-anticipated Willow sequel series and it looks amazing. This series looks gorgeous and awesome and I can’t wait to see it! The movie is from my childhood and I’m super excited to see the trailer of this new series, it is straight out of childhood so nostalgic.

The series takes place years after the events of the original Willow movie. “It introduces all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters, and welcomes back its namesake hero, Willow Ufgood, performed once again by the unmatchable Warwick Davis.”

The series also stars Erin Kellyman, Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Tony Revolori, Dempsey Bryk, Talisa Garcia, and Game Of Thrones actress Rosabell Laurenti Sellers.

The story is about a group on a mission to save an abducted prince. The members of this group include “Dove (Bamber), whose backstory resembles that of Willow from the film. Dove is an unassuming kitchen maid who confirms she is the “chosen one” as she ventures on the epic journey. She is joined by Kit, the princess whose twin brother was abducted. She is destined to be a leader and, ultimately, the queen. Kellyman plays Jade, a servant who is Kit’s best friend and moral compass. She is on her way to becoming the best young warrior in the kingdom.” Sellers is said to play a resourceful character with sharp, acerbic wit.

The group also includes a character who is said to echo Val Kilmer’s character in the movie. He’s described as a thief and liar and joins the quest in trade for getting out of prison. That character will be played by Bryk.
