This 1983 World Record High Dive Competition Was Absolute Bonkers

It’s 1983, the orcas have just been moved and a steel tower has been built, and a small platform 172 feet high (52.4m) has been placed.

This is SeaWorld in San Diego, California where a crowd has assembled to watch 6 daredevils try a world record high dive with different levels of difficulty—and success.
