THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Set Photos

Director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder set photos have surfaced online via Daily Mail. These photos star Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tessa Thompson reprising her role as Valkyrie, but it looks like she’s wearing her Men in Black suit.

Thor: Love and Thunder also star Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder; Chris Pratt will return as Star-Lord, and it was revealed that Christian Bale will play Gore The God Butcher.

Jane Foster’s Thor story arc is based on Jason Aaron’s comic book run on The Mighty Thor, the story of which develops a cancer-stricken Jane Foster as she takes up the powers of Thor. According to Portman, this storyline will be a part of the movie, saying:

“I can’t tell you that much. I’m really excited. I’m starting to train, to get muscles. If there can be all these female superheroes, the more of them they are, the better it is. I’m trying to think — it’s based on the graphic novel of The Mighty Thor. She’s going through cancer treatment and is a superhero on the side.”

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on February 11th, 2022.
