Check out the new trailer for Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, and it comes with cool and entertaining new footage. It mostly puts a focus on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor giving a stirring speech. It also delivers some new footage of the heroes fighting Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, and more footage of the Guardians of the Galaxy in action.
The movie finds Thor “on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”
The movie also stars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, a.k.a. Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, director Taika Waititi as Korg, Russell Crowe as Zeus, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Dave Bautista as Drax, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on July 8th, 2022.
