Thrift Store Paintings Get New Life With Pop Culture Upgrades

Artist Dave Pollot has has a love for pop culture and thrift shopping, so he’s combined both of those and turned them into art.
Pollot picks up paintings from thrift shops and paints in pop culture references and then offers prints of those paintings for sale.
His paintings feature references from LEGO to Star Wars and have names like “Fall of the Empire”, “On A Bender II”, and “Intelligent Design”.
