Tim Burton’s Netflix Series WEDNESDAY Trailer Released

Netflix has unveiled a full trailer for Tim Burton’s upcoming Addams Family-inspired series, Wednesday. This show looks like it’s going to be good fun! Jenna Ortega is simply perfect in the role of Wednesday Addams, who is a holy terror!

This is a winding coming-of-age comedy story about “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.”

The series also stars Luis Guzmán, who is playing Gomez Addams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the role of Morticia Addams. The series also stars Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.

The eight-episode series was written by Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar, and it was directed by Burton. All three of them will also serve as showrunners on the series and executive producers. Wednesday is set to premiere in fall 2022.
