Movavi Screen Recorder for Mac allows you to record videos on any video sharing site on your Mac computers. Movavi Screen Capture 8 also comes with an editor that allows you to make quick edits on the screencast that you just captured. On the first screen that appear, you will see several buttons. You can click the record screen button to launch the cross hair for selecting the application window that you want to record. Clicking the quick capture button will present you with a number of quick capture shortcuts that allow you to instantly start the recording without any further configuration.

If you click the record screen button, you will be able to customize the screen recording whereas the quick capture option will use the default configuration. In quick capture, the system audio is enabled by default but the microphone and webcam are disabled. After clicking the record screen button, you must determine what area of the screen you want to record. If you want to record a screen region, you must click anywhere on the desktop with the crosshair cursor and select the preferred resolutions from the capture area drop-down menu. You can further adjust the recording frame by dragging the corner where you see a two arrow cursor.

On the control panel, you can adjust the capture area size, and enable/disable webcam, system audio, and microphone. The rest of the settings can be accessed via the navigation menu on top. To enable keystroke recording, you can go to Capture menu and select keystroke recording. Here, you can choose to record the keystroke on the keyboard or all keystrokes of the keyboards connected to the computer.

To customize the cursor effects, you can choose Cursor Effects from the Capture drop-down menu and select Set Up Effects. You can use the color picker tool to pick any color you want to use for highlighting the cursor and left/right mouse clicks. If you check the mouse click sound, the default sound will be used as the mouse click sound. However, you can add your own mouse click soundtrack as the mouse click sound. To schedule a recording, you can go to Capture > Schedule Recording. When the dialog box appears, you can customize the capture time options.

You can choose to start the recording yourself and end at a scheduled time. You can also customize both the start and end schedule recording time. To start the recording, you can either click the orange Rec button or select the Start recording option from the Capture drop-down menu. When the recording reaches the end, you can press the stop button on top of the recording frame and save the screencast on your computer.
