Sony Pictures has revealed the first trailer for Tom Hanks’ upcoming film A Man Called Otto, and in this movie, Hanks plays a grumpy old man, who “doesn’t hate the world. Just the people ruining it.” But, his heart ends up being softened by a new family that moves into his neighborhood. Tom Hanks is such a great and loveable actor and this looks like it’s going to be a good moving film.
The movie is based on the comical novel by Fredrik Backman, which “tells the story of Otto Anderson (Hanks), a grumpy widower who is set in his ways. When a cheerful young family moves in next door, he meets his match in quick-witted and pregnant Marisol, leading to a beautiful friendship that will turn his world upside-down. Experience a humorous, heartwarming story about how families come from the most unexpected places.”
A Man Called Otto is set to be released on Christmas.
