Toys “R” Us is Coming Back!

Toys "R" Us

Toys “R” locations all over the country are closing down fast, but… it may not be for good! It looks like there’s a Toys “R” Us revival in the works!

According to Bloomberg, former Toys “R” Us chief executive officer Jerry Storch has been, “working with multiple investors on a plan to reboot the retailer in the U.S., according to people familiar with the situation, who asked not to be identified because the talks are private.”

Storch is bringing back other former Toys “R” Us executives as well to help with making the stores come back, and that they are already talking to landlords about lease spaces to set up shop.

The report goes on to say his plan “centers on having several hundred stores that house both toy and baby brands under one roof.”

It is a really good news that Toys “R” Us are coming back. It would be awesome if Toys “R” Us could be saved and it looks like Storch is doing everything he can to do that. There’s no word on when Toys “R” Us could make their victorious return, but hopefully, Storch is able to ultimately make it happen.
