Michael Bay‘s Transformers: The Last Knight released a new clip and a spot of the movie and it looks like a movie being targeted to little kids. Both the promos prominently feature the kid characters in the movie. Why we have to find out in the movie.
Transformers: The Last Knight also stars Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce, Jerrod Carmichael as Desi, and Liam Carrigan (Once Upon a Time) as King Arthur.
The first clip that’s been released features the young main character Izabella, played by Isabela Moner, who is on the flight with her friends from a guard that is hunting them down. In the process, they find some shelter from a helpful Transformer that may or may not be Bumblebee. If it is Bumblebee he looks different from his usual look, but it is wearing its colors.
The TV spot also offers new footage from the film that focuses on Izabella a young female character who isn’t afraid to step up and confront the Decepticons.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
Transformers: The Last Knight opens in theaters on June 23, 2017.
