Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will roll out into theaters in 2023. The first trailer for Rise of the Beasts is finally here and you can watch it right now.
In the trailer, we get our first peek at the live-action redesigns for the Maximals, including Optimus Primal, Cheetor, and Rhinox as well as the newly re-designed Mirage and Arcee. Both Mirage and Arcee were, technically, featured in Michael Bay’s Transformers movies (though Mirage was also called “Dino”), but they were close to unrecognizable and corresponded to their cartoon and comic book counterparts, however. We even get to see a short moment of Mirage using the powers that give him his namesake, creating copies of himself to throw off the police on a chase.
Also featured in the trailer is Optimus Primal’s voice, performed by Ron Perlman, through his fellow Maximals are still silent.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts stars Anthony Ramos as Noah, and Dominique Fishback as Elena, and features the return of Peter Cullen to yet again voice Optimus Prime. Pete Davidson will be voicing Mirage, who in the original cartoon was an F1 racer but is now a Porsche. Ron Perlman will deliver the voice for Optimus Primal and Michelle Yeoh will voice Airazor, a robotic falcon.
Rise of the Beasts will hit theaters on June 9, 2023.
