Troll King 'Burger King' Used 'IT' Movie To Troll McDonald's

This should be the best trolling of the year!

Burger King is sassy AF, as their epic Twitter trolling of arch-enemy McDonald’s shows.

Their latest stunt is the most brilliant, ingenious piece of shade to date.

Burger King kind of owned the horror movie of the year, Stephen King’s IT, by projecting two spotlights right before the credits at the film premiere in Germany.

“The moral is: never trust a clown,” reads the first, while the second, which appears immediately after, read: “Burger King”.

The reference is clearly to Ronald McDonald, the clown used as a mascot for the McDonald’s brand.

“Turning ‘It’ into Burger King’s longest ad ever,” reads a message in the promotional video.

It’s just a marketing stunt but the whole theatre erupted in laughter, maybe out of relief after the constant tension of the movie.

Loving “It”.
