Traveling aroudn the world, especially as an American, it’s necessary to consider the local culture and “social norms” of the country you’re traveling to. Believe it or not, we don’t all do things the same way. That’s what makes traveling so delightful in the first place.

It’s not uncommon for American tourists to act super entitled. Like assuming a business will take US dollars as payment, or as comedian Ginny Hogan pointed out, assuming they aren’t “foreigners.”
