Episode 7 of the show is getting a lot of hate and I think the reason is simply that it didn’t feel like Stranger Things at all because it didn’t have the key elements that draw people to the show. It didn’t have the cool ‘80s vibe. It’s didn’t have the enjoyable dynamic of the kids. It didn’t have the charming setting of a rural Indiana town. It was not really a bad episode, even though it feels like a drag and show can do much better with just 8 episodes without it. Apart from that show is much darker and serious than the season 1 and that is what I love about it. It drags you into the show and takes you to the upside down place.
