The U.S. Postal Service is dedicating a Forever stamp to the James Webb Space Telescope, which will be available on September 8. Stamp lovers and space enthusiasts alike can pre-order them online starting August 8.
The stamp will feature a digital recreation of the world’s most expensive and powerful telescope, up in space, with its 18 mirror segments.
NASA, along with the Canadian Space Agency and the European Space Agency, launched the $10B space telescope into space on Christmas Day in 2021. They revealed the first set of colored images of the galaxy earlier this month, to widespread praise and interest.
