Val Kilmer Still Got It And Ready To Return as Ice Man in TOP GUN 2
Tom Cruise will be returning to the Top Gun sequel and it is all done and final, but we haven’t heard any other casting news. There are lots of opportunities for actors from the original to have a place in the newly announced sequel. Val Kilmer is also lock and loaded and he is already showing interest. Kilmer, who played the Ice Man in the 1986 classic, says he’s ready to get back on the highway to the danger zone.
The day the sequel was announced, Kilmer tweeted this:

Top Gun 2 will reportedly start filming in 2018.
