Video Explained ‘Movie Poster Remakes Vs Originals’

Movie Poster

Check out this new Youtube video from Vanity Fair that features movie poster artist and Creative Director at Indika Entertainment James Verdesoto, who made iconic movie posters such as Pulp Fiction, Girl, Interrupted, and Training Day talking about the posters of famous movie remakes like A Star is Born, Godzilla, Ocean’s 11, and more.

He talks graphic design, aesthetic, font, style, and art. It’s especially interesting to see the development of the posters for A Star is Born because there have been four iterations of the movie, and finally the poster, that came out in 1937, 1954, 1976, and 2018, respectively. So he highlights the changes made over the decades to the art that depicts the very story.
