Will Smith has unveiled the first trailer for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion, which will air on HBO Max. It gives us a first look at what we can assume from the highly-anticipated reunion show, and I have to say it looks brilliant! If you love the original show then this is something you do not want to miss. It was also revealed that the special will air on HBO Max on Thursday, November 19th.
The special is unscripted, and Smith is accompanied by series regulars Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, and Alfonso Ribeiro as well as recurring co-star DJ Jazzy Jeff for a family reunion onset in the Banks’ house for a look back at the hit show. Also coming to the reunion is Janet Hubert, who started the role of Aunt Viv, for the first time in 27 years for a passionate reunion and a candid discussion.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion was taped on the 30th anniversary of the original series air date, and it will be “a hilarious and heartfelt night full of music, dancing, and a look at the cultural impact the series has had since its debut 30 years ago.”
Marcus Raboy is directing the special, It is going to be a blast of a show and the cast of the series rejoin after all these years and remember about their time on the show, revealing behind-the-scenes stories that were never been shared before.
