Woody Harrelson is in talks to join the upcoming Han Solo movie. Variety reports, Harrelson will play a mentor figure to Alden Ehrenreich’s title scoundrel. The current cast also includes Community and Atlanta‘s Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and an undisclosed role for Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing.
Movie will focus on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley. It has also been confirmed that Chewbacca will also be a featured character in the film and, while unconfirmed.
Movie will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
