The WOODY WOODPECKER Trailer Looks Beyond Awful

Check out the first trailer for the live-action/CG animated feature film adaptation of the classic cartoon Woody Woodpecker and this thing looks absolutely terrible! The story for the film follows “the hyperactive red-headed bird, who enters a turf war with a big city lawyer wanting to tear down his home in an effort to build a house to flip.”

The trailer is full of wacky weirdness that includes a spaztastic Woody pooping on people and just going completely crazy! They tried to keep the character real to the cartoon version of the character, but in the trailer, it just seems like he’s so hopped up on drugs and he will blast in a while.

Voice cast includes Eric Bauza as the voice of Woody, Timothy Omundson (Mission: Impossible III), Jakob Davies, Thaila Ayala, Graham Verchere (Fargo), Jordana Largy, and Emily Holmes (The Shack).

Woody Woodpecker will be released on February 6, 2018.
